Hello Everyone!
I have completed all my papers for finals week and am now free for Summer!
I’m definitely going to celebrate the successful completion of my first of two years as a graduate student for a master’s in Screenwriting, but before anything else happens, wanted to give you all an update on some things going on.
Firstly, I think I may have found a part time summer job as a tour guide here at home. I’ve gone in for an interview and am waiting to be called for a follow up interview where I’ll get started.
It’s great because I am registered for my fall classes (beginning the first week of September), and I have a part time job waiting for me working on campus for the school year.
Still aiming to go to LA to do an internship for 12 weeks during the spring of 2019 but that’s still a ways away so I won’t worry about it. Back to this!
So now that I’m free I’ll be working on my new website with Wix called dhvincistudios. It’ll house my writing, characters, my personal 3D art, art I’ve received or got commissioned to get, fan work, patron recognition, and maybe a link tab to all the different places I love and research.
Thanks to my patrons it will be an official and professional looking website, and the first 12 highest paying people on my patreon will be on the front page!
Although it was fun, I think I’m going to shut down my blog page
infinitiumwriter.wordpress.com…
Because it was meant for blogging and is outdated. I didn’t have nearly as much content when I first started doing it than I do now. This new website with Wix is an upgrade!
I know some fans are following my blog via email and I’ll try to reach out to you to let you know of the changes I’ll be making.
I’m trying to add more things to the website before I make it public so hold on for a little while longer.
Side news, gonna start planning to go to the gym.
Last thing. I asked some of my patrons what they wanted to see in terms of my work. So now I’m going to be working on character profiles since I have a big family to work out.
That’s all for right now! Happy weekend!
Hey everyone,
So I have big and exciting news to share with you all. This’ll be fairly long so bare with me.
Refresher: For those who are reading this for the first time I’m a current graduate student going for a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting. I’m just about to complete my first of two years in this program. I’m aiming for the television industry and up until this point I’ve been working on a blog that houses my characters, content, art, hobbies, stories, and previous work, just to give a visual to my fantasy world.
Now I’ve come to the point where I’m going to take everything I’ve been working on and turn it into a TV Show Bible. I’m going to pitch this idea to people in LA and create my own original television show.
Next year (Starting the fall of 2018) I’ll be working on a thesis project for school, which is going to be an original television pilot (first episode) based on the content I have on my website.
The show/project is called Kitsunix: The Animated Series. It’s a work in progress title and story of a family trying to get back together in a strange new world, despite being forced to serve others who have plans to benefit themselves.
This project is going to be my primary focus for the summer and for next year. I am currently on the look out for a part time job to help myself and fund this project. I’m only a writer (and do 3D art for fun) so getting professional art and so on will be what I strive for to give his project a boost.
I’m also going to work on a professional website for this project so it looks more… professional.
Now for my Patreon
I updated my patreon with 1,3,5,10, and 20 dollar rewards. If you like the idea of this project, have seen my work so far and wanna help make this a reality, show your support and be a part of the family. Even $1 gets you some credit for helping.
My patreon isn’t the only way you can help: continuing to watch the content, spread the word about the project (some guy is making a furry animated tv show), give your thoughts, provide references from your own favorite creators for me to watch out for, ect… This idea is still growing and I’m happy to be doing it with you all.
Because I’m in a graduate program that has animators and artists in it, I plan to present this project next year when it’s thoroughly developed to my peers. Meaning I may have a team to work on this when I go back in the fall.
Lastly, the screenwriting program I’m in has something called the L.A. Quarter. This is a 12 week program I can take to go to L.A. and intern in the spring term. So I have just about 11 months to work on this project as much as I can, before I go pitching it to anyone else.
Alternative: If this idea is not accepted by anyone, I’ll be doing it myself as a web show. I’ll have made plenty of contacts, friends, and support to get this off the ground in one year’s time.
I think that’s everything I wanted to say. So be sure to check out my blog and my patreon to show your support. Thanks for reading all of this and I hope you enjoy the stories yet to come!
